![]() ![]() This really brings the Hyrule from Twilight Princess to life and I am curious to check out the other volumes once they are released. ![]() Like the previous Himekawa manga adaptations of Zelda, Twilight Princess is beautifully drawn and the art throughout is luscious as well as visually very clean. If anything, it feels more inline with the tone of the Zelda series as a whole and quite faithful to the host game. However, the darker tone and the emotionally tortured Link makes for a very different manga from the normally upbeat Himekawa. ![]() Much of that mystery is dispelled in the first chapter of this manga and that I think is a real shame. It’s not so much a spoiler but the order that the story was told in made sense in the game and was more mysterious as a result. I actually think this was a narrative mistake, as much of what made the story compelling in the original game was not knowing what had happened or who Midna really was.
